How has your perception of beauty changed since taking on a leadership role, and how has this evolution influenced your professional decisions?

Security as a Key Tool: I have learned that on the path to success, physical appearance is not a determining factor in reaching important positions. The true tool and best ally in the workplace is the confidence we project. It is that self-assurance that opens doors and allows for full development.

What strategies do you use to balance external pressures about appearance with your personal values of beauty and authenticity?

Balance and Authenticity: To achieve a true balance, it is crucial not to be swayed by the ‘beauty’ standards imposed on us. We shouldn’t try to be someone we are not. Often, social media presents a distorted reality; it’s essential not to be influenced or give power to something that does not represent our true essence. The key is to accept ourselves, be happy with who we are, and bring out the best of that authenticity.

What is the most significant lesson about beauty that you have applied in your life, and how has it shaped your approach to empowering others?

The Strength of Authenticity: True beauty lies in authenticity. Finding my own style and beauty has been a challenging but invaluable process. It has allowed me to guide younger generations, helping them understand that self-acceptance and self-discovery are the true powers that empower.

How do you use your influence to redefine beauty in a way that empowers women and promotes authentic representation?

Self-Acceptance: I have always been a thin person by genetics, and it surprises me how often this is associated with eating disorders or something negative. In the past, I used to worry about what people thought, but over time, I have learned to accept myself as I am. I am healthy, I feel good, and I am at peace with myself. My message is clear: no matter how you are, if you are well inside and out, what others think doesn’t matter.

What challenges have you faced in attempting to change the beauty narrative in your environment, and what were the keys to overcoming them?

Communication and Self-Acceptance: My work focuses on communication, and it is essential to use the tools at my disposal to ‘spread the word’ in a positive and responsible way. Talking about self-acceptance and self-care is crucial, especially about those topics that were taboo in my generation. It is important for these messages to reach everyone, promoting acceptance and self-love.

How do you think beauty standards are evolving, and what role should the media play in shaping them?

Evolution of Beauty Standards: As I mentioned before, beauty standards are no longer limited to a perfect aesthetic; today, there is a diversification that reflects multiple styles and evolves with globalization. Media, social networks, and platforms have the responsibility to spread a positive message about body and beauty. Although we have made progress toward inclusion, there is still work to be done to elevate self-esteem and continue promoting the diversity of stereotypes.

How do you incorporate your personal values into your beauty rituals, and how does this influence your well-being?

Intergenerational Beauty Rituals: Since I was 15, sunscreen, eye cream, and removing my makeup every day have been part of my personal care mantra. These habits were instilled in me by my grandmother, my mother, and my aunts, and now I have passed them on to my niece. These are the best beauty tips that have been passed down from generation to generation in my family. How do I reconnect with who I am? By remembering that I must care for and love my body, which is unique and deserves the best.
