About XIOMARA MARCOS

In a world where beauty often follows rigid standards, Xiomara Marcos emerges as a visionary who transforms this concept from within. As the director of Nashi Argan México, she does more than just lead a brand—she champions a movement that elevates beauty to an act of courage, authenticity, and profound sisterhood. Xiomara is a builder of bridges, a creator of opportunities, and a true architect of alliances, creating spaces where every woman is empowered to find her voice and embrace her unique power to challenge the limits of possibility.

Xiomara’s leadership is a model of authenticity, leading with an open heart and forging deep connections that guide others on a journey toward self-confidence. For her, beauty is not just a reflection in the mirror but an act of connection, a declaration of strength, and an invitation for every woman to be a force for change. She unites women in an unbreakable bond of respect and sisterhood, reminding them that their greatest power lies within their individuality.

In Beauty Voices, Xiomara’s impact goes beyond inspiration; it is a call to action—a reminder that true beauty and real influence are found in the generosity of lifting others, in building legacies that empower, and in creating a lasting revolution where each woman’s authenticity and strength are celebrated. Xiomara stands as a beacon of empowerment and transformation, lighting the way toward a future where beauty is liberated, fearless, and limitless.

Her involvement in Beauty Voices is more than a collaboration; it’s a manifesto, an invitation to challenge expectations and reinvent beauty from a place of self-love and sisterhood. Xiomara inspires us to look beyond the mirror, to embrace every piece of who we are, celebrating what is imperfect, brave, and authentic. In a world that tries to dictate who we should be, her voice and story are a beacon lighting the way toward a new era—where beauty is an act of shared revolution and every woman shines with her unique, powerful, and unrepeatable light.

How has your perception of beauty changed since taking on a leadership role, and how has this evolution influenced your professional decisions?

The biggest change is realizing that beauty goes far beyond the superficial. For me, at this moment, true beauty is finding and being able to see the most beautiful part of each person. This has an even greater impact when working with a team. There is no way to achieve results if we don’t have people who shine with their own light, who are unique, who grow every day, who contribute their knowledge, and who are confident in themselves. I am convinced that to achieve extraordinary results, we need extraordinary people, and there is nothing more wonderful than watching each one of them grow.

What strategies do you use to balance external pressures about appearance with your personal values of beauty and authenticity?

The most important thing is to be true to myself, regardless of what’s trending or what works for others. I understand that each person is authentic and completely different, so what I need to feel good is not related to what someone else needs. Likewise, I always focus on feeling comfortable and reflecting my essence. In the end, if you feel confident in yourself and convey that, that’s how others will see you.

What is the most significant lesson about beauty that you have applied in your life, and how has it shaped your approach to empowering others?

You will never be able to please everyone, so focus on pleasing yourself. Focus on working on yourself, learning every day, becoming a better person, adding value to others, building relationships, seeking constant growth, transcending, and above all, always striving for the best for others. The laws of life are clear: we cannot expect to receive what we are not willing to give.

How do you use your influence to redefine beauty in a way that empowers women and promotes authentic representation?

Thanks to my work, I have been able to meet wonderful women whom I admire greatly, and they have helped me grow and learn more than I ever imagined. So, the focus is precisely this: beauty lies in connecting with each woman along the way, always supporting one another, growing together, sharing my experiences, and, despite life’s demands, always remembering that our authenticity as women is our greatest asset. No one is like us, and that is our magic.

What challenges have you faced in attempting to change the beauty narrative in your environment, and what were the keys to overcoming them?

The biggest challenge I’ve encountered is changing women’s own perception of themselves. I’ve met women who didn’t feel capable of achieving success, who lacked self-confidence, or who simply preferred not to take risks and pursue what they wanted due to a constant fear of change. For me, this has become one of my top priorities: supporting empowerment, personal development, and, most importantly, trying to shift their own perspective so that each woman can see her own beauty and recognize all that she is capable of. When you start seeing the results, it’s wonderful to witness these women transformed, now empowered, self-assured, and self-sufficient.

How do you think beauty standards are evolving, and what role should the media play in shaping them?

I believe we are making progress as a society when it comes to beauty standards. More and more, we are talking about authenticity, about not comparing ourselves, and understanding that we are all different. However, there is still a lot of work to be done. From my perspective, the most important role the media should play is creating positive awareness for the new and younger generations. I am certain that if girls and adolescents grow up in a healthy, secure environment, with self-confidence, understanding the vast diversity in the world, and learning basic values like respect, support, and love among us as women, we will achieve a better society.

How do you incorporate your personal values into your beauty rituals, and how does this influence your well-being?

My priority is to be consistent with what I do and what I aim to convey, so taking care of my hair is that little gift I give myself every day. I’ve been working in this industry for 10 years, leading Nashi Argan in Mexico, and I never imagined we’d get to where we are now. Every time I use my products, it’s like revisiting all the beautiful memories I’ve gathered throughout this journey—from opening our first client, to every laugh and every tear that reminds me of what I’m capable of, but most importantly, of what I still want to achieve.
